Reiaas Swedish Ship Real Photo Postcard Sunk 1944 Collision
Built as A Swedish Ship and was sold and renamed several times.
In the night of June 13th 1944, the Norwegian cargo D/S REIAAS, was in convoy FWC-5 on voyage from Baie de La Seine to the Solent, when she collided with the British steamer S/S FOLDA. In the collision, the gunner's cabin was hit, making it for 2 of them impossible to escape, despite efforts of their companions to free them. REIAAS stayed afloat, but sank soon when the weather detoriated.
