Fantastic original vintage 1973 slide transparency photo pictures Jack Nicklaus at the 1973 Atlanta Classic, which he won with a 16 stroke under par 72 hole total of 272 - a two stroke victory over Tom Weiskopf.
Jack is considered by many to be the Greatest Of All Time to have ever played the game. He ranks 3rd all time for tour victories. But the record that give him the GOAT status is a record that most likely will never be broken - 18 Majors victories. For a period of time it looked like Tiger would eclipse that mark, but as time passed it became elusive.  Jack's Majors record will most likely join the all-time sports record legends - Joe Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak, Cy Young's 511 career victories, and Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point game, to name a few.
