This rare, vintage original 7"x 9" wire photo featuring
baseball
greats
Gil Hodges and Sandy Amoros of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
This photo was shot on October 9, 1956 during the’56 World Series
between the Dodgers and the Yankees showing Hodges
being forced out at second base on an infield hit by Amoros.
This is a Type 1 original wire photo from International news Agency
and is stamped on the reverse with their official news wire stamp,
guaranteeing the authenticity of photo.
Also on back of photo is a brief description of the play.
Wire photo is dated
on the back of the photo October 9, 1956.
This beautiful vintage first generation wire photograph is superb
in contrast and clarity.
